주작페스티벌은 술자리와 관련된 건배사, N행시 등의 내용을 인스타그램을 통해 응모하도록 하는 온라인 백일장 형식의 이벤트다. 약 3주동안 진행된 주작페스티벌에는 1100건의 내용이 응모되었으며, 이 중 총 17편을 수상작으로 발표했다.
대상은 ‘술자리’로 지은 3행시가 선정됐다. ‘술’도 못 마시는 데, ‘자’리를 왜 지켰을까?, ‘리(니)’가 있어서 라는 내용으로 만든 3행시다.
대상 수상자에게는 50만 원 상당의 이마트24 상품권, 삼성 와인 냉장고, 짠 한정판 굿즈 등 푸짐한 상품이 제공된다. 그 외에도 최우수상과 우수상 등 수상작은 짠 인스타그램(jjaann.official)에서 확인할 수 있으며, 이마트24 매장 내 디지털사이니지를 통해서도 공개해 술자리와 관련된 재미있는 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
이마트24는 주류를 매개로 해 MZ세대와 재미있는 소통을 하기 위해, ‘짠’과 함께 온라인 백일장 행사를 기획하게 됐다. 코로나19로 인해 홈술/혼술 문화가 일상화 되고, 비대면 만남이 대중화 됨에 따라, MZ세대들의 술자리 문화도 바뀌고 있다는 점을 고려해 국내 최초 음주 메타버스 플랫폼 ‘짠’과 협업하게 됐다.
‘짠’은 시공간의 제약 없이 지인들과 화상으로 랜선 술자리를 가질 수 있는 신개념 온라인 서비스다. 온라인 상에서 직접 얼굴을 보며 실제와 같은 음주 분위기를 연출할 수 있으며, 친구들과 노래방, 게임 등 다양한 즐길 거리를 활용해 친목을 다질 수도 있다.
실제로, 이달 6일 이마트24와 짠이 진행한 ‘짠 랜선술자리’에는 400여 명이 참여하며 큰 호응을 얻었다. 이날 랜선술자리는 연예인 지상렬과 달수빈이 온라인 백일장 응모작을 살펴보고, 족집게 과외를 해준다는 콘셉트로 라이브 방송으로 진행됐다.
이날 라이브 랜선술자리에 참여한 사람들은 캐주얼 한 분위기 속에서 화상으로 연예인들과 대화하며, 술에 대한 공감대를 바탕으로 소통하는 자리를 가졌다.
이마트24 브랜드마케팅팀 김승아 파트너는 “이번 주작페스티벌을 통해 랜선 술자리라는 새로운 콘셉트로 고객과 재미있게 소통하는 자리를 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 음주 메타버스 ‘짠’과 함께 이색적인 프로모션을 선보일 계획이다”고 전했다.19일 오후 부산 금정구 부산대학교 앞 거리에 있는 한 동전 노래방. 총 19개 방 중 절반인 11개의 방에서 사람들이 노래를 부르고 있다. 친구끼리 온 중·고생이나 연인으로 보이는 커플도 있지만, 방에서 혼자 노래를 부르는 사람이 대부분이다. 티셔츠에 슬리퍼 차림으로 편하게 발라드를 부르는가 하면, 혼자 탬버린을 치면서 춤까지 추는 사람도 있다. 이곳에서 만난 대학생 유모(25) 씨는 "도서관에서 공부하다 점심을 먹으러 학교 밑으로 내려왔다. 식사 후 간단히 스트레스를 풀 겸 들렀다. 남들에게 자랑할 만한 솜씨가 아니라서 혼자 부르는 게 마음 편하고 좋다"고 말했다.
1990년대 후반 전성기를 누리다 전자오락실이 사라지며 함께 쇠퇴했던 동전 노래방이 화려하게 돌아왔다. 특히 실속을 챙기고, 혼자 노래하는 젊은 층이 늘면서 대학가에는 대세로 자리 잡았다.
이날 본지 취재진이 부산대 앞 거리를 1시간30분가량 걸어 다니며 발견한 동전노래방은 총 14개였다. 유명 노래 체인점인 '락휴'도 지난달 동전 노래방을 열었고, '세븐스타 코인노래방'이라는 전문 프랜차이즈점도 등장했다. 19일 기준으로 금정구에 신고된 장전동 노래연습장은 총 60개(유흥주점 제외). 전체 노래방에서 동전 노래방이 최소 23% 이상을 차지하는 셈이다.
운영 방식은 종전과 같다. 입구에 있는 화폐 교환기에서 500원짜리 동전이나 1000·5000원권 등 지폐로 바꾼 후, 빈방으로 들어가 자신이 부를 만큼 돈을 투입하고 노래를 부르면 된다. 4000원을 내면 약 1시간 동안 노래를 부를 수 있다. 친구와 함께 동전 노래방을 찾은 고교생 박예림(17) 양은 "기존의 노래방은 크고, 1시간 동안 의무적으로 노래를 불러야 해서 부담스럽다. 동전 노래방은 시원한 데다 시설도 깨끗해 친구와 자주 찾는 편"이라고 말했다.
동전 노래방이 다시 인기를 끄는 것은 최근 젊은 층을 중심으로 '혼자 노는 문화'가 퍼진 것도 한 요인이다. 젊은 층의 개인적 성향이 '혼밥(혼자 먹는 밥)', '혼술(혼자 먹는 술)'뿐만 아니라 '혼창(혼자 부르는 노래)'까지 확산했다는 설명이다. 락휴 동전 노래방 점주 홍성길 씨는 "노래방은 반 평(1.8㎡) 정도로 최대 3명까지 앉을 수 있지만, 약 40%가량이 혼자 찾는 손님이다. 혼자 와서 딱 500원만 넣고 노래 2곡만 부르고 가는 손님도 많은 편"이라고 설명했다.
부산대 김문겸(사회학과) 교수는 "직장·학교 등에서 '우리'를 강요하던 전통적인 공동체 문화가 최근 개인주의를 넘어서면서 나 홀로족으로 발현되고 있다. 하지만 이는 사람간 교감을 나누지 못해 깊은 인간관계를 맺기 어렵다. 심해지면 이혼과 고독사로 연결된다"고 말했다.방기영 하이트진로 해외사업본부 일본대양주팀 팀장의 말이다. 실제 일본은 하이트진로의 해외사업 중 가장 빠르게 성장하는 곳 중 하나다. 이 성장의 배경에는 우리의 음주문화가 주효했다고 한다. 녹색병 소주를 소주잔에 쭈욱 들이키는 우리 소주 특유의 음주문화가 일본에서 새로운 트렌드로 떠오르기 시작한 것이다.
지난 5일 하이트진로에서 일본 전문가로 꼽히는 방 팀장을 직접 만나봤다. 그는 지난 2012년부터 8년을 일본에서 근무 한 뒤 지난 2020년부터 하이트진로 해외사업본부 일본대양주팀장을 맡고 있다.
그는 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 이전까지만 하더라도 일본 내 슈퍼와 편의점 매대에 ‘참이슬’이 진열되는 모습을 상상하기 힘들었다고 한다.
방 팀장은 “본사 발령 이후 3년간 일본을 못 갔는데 지난 5월 일본을 방문한 뒤 편의점 매대에서 ‘참이슬’을 흔히 찾아볼 수 있다는 점에서 놀랍고 또 반가웠다”며 “2019년과 일본의 분위기가 확연하게 바뀌었다는 것을 체감했다”고 말했다.
사실 일본은 주류산업에 있어서는 진입장벽이 높은 국가로 꼽힌다
